Meet the Therapist
Individual and Family Therapist
Stacey's warm, empathic and skilled approach has been developed over the last 17 years. Through the privilege of walking alongside many individuals and families in the community, Stacey has a particular passion in areas of trauma, self identity and empowerment, and creating stronger relationships.
Her experience began through studies of a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Clinical Family Therapy, which led to varied roles from child, adolescent and adult mental health services, crisis intervention services, refugee and asylum seeker supports and family therapy.
Stacey's practice areas include one to one psychotherapy, family therapy, workshops, training and providing professional supervision to fellow colleagues in the sector.
Therapeutic modalities and frameworks which influence Stacey's work include narrative therapy, family systemic practice, acceptance and commitment therapy, understanding how trauma impacts our body, breath work, attachment styles and the connection to how this influences the way we communicate, and various other psychological interventions.
Stacey has an ability to connect and assess the issues her clients are experiencing with a powerfully gentle tact and is an avid advocate for people developing clarity and purpose within their lives and relationships. This work has always been an honour for her to bear witness to and be a part of.
